The General Hospital spoilers for June 1-5, 2020 reveal a triple dose of Nurses Ball shenanigans thanks to the re-airing of five episodes (all devoted to the fundraising event) from 2016, 2017, and 2018.
Last week viewers were treated to a look back at both the 2014 and 2015 Nurses Ball. And, as per usual, there was drama aplenty. Weddings, firings, broken hearts, and even a good old-fashioned strip show. But what’s better than two Nurses Balls? That’s right, three Nurses Balls.
On Monday, it’s back to May 25, 2016. Magic Milo and the Magic Wands take it off to the tune of Demon in Disguise. Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) and “Eddie Maine” (Wally Kurth) rock out to Don’t Go Breaking My Heart and Franco (Roger Howarth) assists a nervous Jake (Hudson West) in performing This Changes Everything.
On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday fast forward the action to the Spring of 2017. Poor Jake is under the influence of the evil Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) and she wants him to perform a “magic trick” for the Nurses Ball attendees. The only snag is that the magic trick is going to make everybody gathered for the festivities permanently disappear!
This is where the Chimera and its poison gas come into play and Franco is the one to help Jake come down from whatever brainwashing happened during his years on Cassadine Island.
Ava (Maura West) is also in danger of disappearing. But rather than dying as a result of Helena’s scheme, she might meet her maker at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) hands. He and Carly (Laura Wright) know that she was the one who replaced Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) much-needed medication… and they’re out for revenge!
Musical numbers include Brave – performed by Emma with assists from Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken), Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), and Valerie (Brytni Sarpy) – and So It Goes On – performed by Valentin (James Patrick Stuart).
The week concludes with an offering from 2018. The GH nurses put their own spin on Everyday People, and Chase belts out Feel It Still. Meanwhile, Sam uncovers evidence linking Peter (Wes Ramsey) to Faison (Anders Hove) and Finn (Michael) tells Anna (Finola Hughes) that he hasn’t gotten over her. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
