General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, July 22, 2020 reveal Michael and Willow going the distance to prove their love — for Wiley, at least — in this blast from the not-so-distant past… May 12, 2020, to be exact. You won’t want to miss a single moment of this spring episode.
Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) go to the Metro Court and fill in Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) about their big wedding news. Even bigger — it’s happening tonight. Carly’s thrilled that Willow is on board to help save Wiley but Sonny will be a bit more reserved with his enthusiasm for his son’s latest maneuver.
After all, a loveless marriage isn’t exactly the best thing for a child to see. Michael believes their love for Wiley will be enough and insists on moving forward with their plan and would like both of his parents to be there for support. As if Carly and Sonny could ever deny him anything, right? Apparently, the Quartermaines won’t be able to either.
Believe it or not, Sonny, who killed her son A.J. (Michael’s father), will be welcomed into Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) house for the wedding. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) will help Willow by providing the perfect wedding dress (she had one just hanging around?!), and Lucy (Lynn Herring) will be able to officiate at the surprise nuptials — as everything comes together.
But prior to that, Leo is in a tizzy and somehow gets his mother’s phone to call Julian (William deVry). He drops everything to head to the Q mansion to help his son, who seems to be upset about something Ned (Wally Kurth) has done. His presence there will, of course, offend Sonny’s sensibilities despite Julian saying he hopes Michael keeps Wiley.
Nelle (Chloe Lanier) wants to strategize with Martin (Michael E. Knight) after overhearing that Michael and Willow are getting married. There is no way she’s going to let him outmaneuver her. She checks with Martin to see if the court will see this ploy for what it is but he warns her that they just might get away with it.
At General Hospital, Trina (Sydney Mikayla) puts Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) on notice after doing the same to Cyrus (Jeff Kober). She is still hurting over Taggert’s (Réal Andrews) death and she wants nothing to do with those she blames for it happening in the first place. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
