General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, April 2, 2020, reveal a day of determined missions and confusing information. You won’t want to miss a moment of this illuminating episode.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) is confused when he sees the way Mike (Max Gail) looks at Brando (Johnny Wactor). It’s like he’s haunted by the past — is there a secret locked in Mike’s mind? Sonny feels like he is failing his father. But then Mike tells him there’s something he needs him to do — will Sonny come through? Carly (Laura Wright) lets Brando know that family is everything to Sonny, so we assume he’ll find a way.
Laura (Genie Francis) is furious abut the upcoming release of Cyrus and tells Robert (Tristan Rogers) that she has a few ideas of her own. He wants to know how she plans to stop what’s about to happen. Not one to back down from a challenge, the mayor lets her old friend of several decades know that he should just watch her do it.
For a new villian, Cyrus seems to have his tentacles reaching out everywhere — and it worries Jason (Steve Burton). He finally tells Sam (Kelly Monaco) the truth about TJ — that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is the one who has him. And he also gives the woman he loves a warning.

Meanwhile, the man himself has a meeting in prison with Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). Of course, Kevin has plenty of experience dealing with homicidal nut jobs — his twin is one, after all. When he accuses Cyrus (Jeff Kober) of threatening him, the incarcerated man sets him straight — if he’s ever really threatening him, he’ll know it.
Trina (Sydney Mikayla) is completely confused by what she’s just learned from Jordan about Taggert (Réal Andrews) and seeks out Ava (Maura West). She confides in her mentor, looking for answers about what it could all mean. Will Ava have wise words or simply remind her that the world is rarely fair?
Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) continues to spread the pain around when she goes off on poor Molly (Haley Pullos), telling her she’s the reason TJ (Tajh Bellow) hasn’t returned — saying her actions have consequences. Suitably freaked out, Molly ends up running into Brando and asks him for help. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
