General Hospital spoilers (GH) for Tuesday, May 22nd promise the day Anna’s been waiting 42 years for. You won’t want to miss a moment of this explosive episode.

Peter (Wes Ramsey) thinks he’s meeting a woman pretending to be his mother and Anna (Finola Hughes) knows she’s meeting her son, but it looks like Peter’s about to learn the truth.

Spoilers reveal that Peter feels deceived. After a conversation with Anna, does he realize Valentin has been lying to him for most of his life… and is also responsible for him winding up in Faison’s hands to begin with?

Of course, he also has Jason (Steve Burton) to deal with, because even Anna couldn’t keep a good, stone-cold mob enforcer off her trail. Did she really think she’d pull this off without him? With Peter’s gun in his hand, it’s a good thing Jason is there.

Speaking of Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), he needs to smooth things over with his wife and it looks like that’s going to be harder than he ever expected.

While he tries to talk himself out of his latest marital mess, Nina (Michelle Stafford) doesn’t even want to hear it.

She’s had absolutely enough of the secrets and lies, but she’s had enough before and always forgives. However, is this the final straw?

Finn (Michael Easton) seems to know something insane was going on with Anna and is determined to find out what it is. As he seeks answers, he may finally realize why he found Anna’s revised last will and testament with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

And, let us never forget that before Peter pulled a gun on his mother, he delivered his nephew on the side of the road. (Please don’t name him Peter, Maxie. PLEASE.)

With that NICU webcam and Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) panic over whether anyone has seen her baby, we have to wonder if something happened to the baby–especially with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) still in the hospital.

And then there’s Nelle’s obsession, Michael (Chad Duell). He gets to spend some time with Kiki (Hayley Erin), who needs a shoulder to lean on. It seems her mother is too angry at Griffin (Matt Cohen) to spare his shoulder this time around.
