General Hospital Spoilers (GH): Mayoral Mayhem! A Race To The Finish For Ned And Alexis

General Hospital spoilers (GH) for Tuesday, February 20 promise an Election Day to remember as a last-minute news story can foil Alexis’s mayoral hopes.

Hope For Ned
Ned (Wally Kurth) thinks he has this election in the bag after seeing the story that just came out on how Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) managed to get Julian (William deVry) out of jail.

While it seems to be a plant from Jim Harvey (we did see him give the go-ahead for something when he left the Q mansion), it could also have a very last-minute effect on the race.

This gives hope to the Quartermaines as they gather to watch the results come in. Michael (Chad Duell) is even shocked when Nelle (Chloe Lanier) shows up and Monica (Leslie Charleson) announces she now considers the girl part of the family.

Hopelessness For Alexis
Over at Charlie’s Pub, Alexis is realizing victory could be pulled from her hands at any second and tells Finn (Michael Easton) it’s looking pretty hopeless.

However, Julian knows something dirty is going on and announces someone will pay.

Of course, Molly (Haley Pullos) had no idea all her mother did to spring her ex from prison and loses it when she learns the story is true.

At the hospital, Liz (Rebecca Herbst) tells Kim that she knows this marriage will be the one that will work out for her just as Franco (Roger Howarth) is telling Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) he remembers something.

Could it have anything to do with Jim Harvey, who keeps getting in the way of many PC happenings?

What Drew Wants To Know…
Speaking of Jim Harvey, Drew (Billy Miller) wants to know more about the man–and his past–so he turns to old buddy Curtis (Donnell Turner) for help.
