General Hospital spoilers (GH) for Friday, July 20th promise a day of insanity as Liesl loses her mind completely, Nelle is almost there, and Carly languishes in a padded cell. You won’t want to miss a moment of this edge-of-your seat episode.
Out Of Her Mind I
Grief does funny things to people, and if you’re already a little off-kilter, it can make you kidnap a man, tie him to a bed for weeks, and then sit that man and your own niece on fire in a barn.
Yep, that’s exactly what losing Nathan (Ryan Paevey) did to Liesl (Kathleen Gati), and things aren’t looking good for Peter (Wes Ramsey) or Nina (Michelle Stafford) as they try to escape the Spoon Island stables.
Thankfully, a whole lot of people realize that’s where they are. Franco (Roger Howarth) ratted his friend out. (Well, she did conk him over the head.)
Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) got their answers, and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) knows damn well West Nile Virus hasn’t invaded the area.
Spoilers reveal that Liesl encounters an obstacle, which can mean any number of people get in her way to try to save a few lives.
It even looks like Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) gets out of jail, desperate to save his wife and friend.

Meanwhile, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is also desperate… to make sure she comes out of this wedding with some cash on hand. She’s been down this road before and managed to get a diamond out of it, but this time she wants more.
To that end, she goes to Chase (Josh Swickard) for help and wonders how she can get away with murder this time around.
She has no idea she’s playing right into Michael’s (Chad Duell) hand as he realizes his plot to bring her down is going exactly as planned.
Not Out Of Her Mind (Maybe)
Poor Carly (Laura Wright) is in a straight jacket and a padded room, believing she managed to stop Nelle and Michael from marrying.
Sadly, Diane has to be the bearer of bad news, informing the frantic (and drugged) mother that Michael is indeed a newlywed.
Back at home, Sonny (Maurice Benard) seems to be blaming himself for everything that’s happening as Jason (Steve Burton) tries to talk him down from the ledge.
