General Hospital Spoilers (GH): A Baby Dies… And A Baby Lives!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, July 31st promise a day of tragedy and triumph, as well as a MAJOR discovery. You won’t want to miss a moment of this unreal episode.

Dreams Shatter
Everything Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) ever wanted seemed to come true, but then Wiley stopped breathing after sleeping with a blanket that wasn’t swaddled around him well at all.

Brad does his best to revive the precious baby while Lucas learns he’s a father. However, it’s to no avail, and tragedy strikes in the most heartbreaking way.

Meanwhile, the collision with the police van (memories of Carlos Rivera, anyone?) allowed Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to escape, and it’s a good thing, because a pregnant Nelle (Chloe Lanier) sure needed a doctor.

It Couldn’t Have Happened To Two Nicer Women
While Obrecht delivering Nelle’s baby is pretty much genius on the writers’ part, will Nelle have her baby for long if Brad fears telling Lucas the truth?

Sonny To The Rescue
Michael (Chad Duell) has other concerns, since Nelle left him to die. At least Sonny (Maurice Benard) found him while the gas leaked from the car.

He finally gets out, but spoilers say that Michael is disappointed. They also tell us Lucas is confused.

Some fathers may be about to get the worst news of their lives because of a cruel twist of fate.

Finn Buys A Clue From Robert
In other news, Finn (Michael Easton) finally figures out that Anna is in trouble thanks to Robert’s  (Tristan Rogers) spy skills. (Finn needs WSB training.)

He realizes he’s been getting texts from her captor, and is all in to find her.

Sweet Hidden Memories
And finally, just as Drew (Billy Miller) gives up on ever finding his flash drive full of memories, Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) comes across something fascinating and slips it into her laptop.

Whatever do we have here? Could it be a flash drive? Maybe it will say Drew and Margaux were lovers in another life when their names were Chloe and Billy. (Probably not.)

It’s a good thing Drew and Margaux have been friendly of late. Maybe we’ll finally learn how Alan Quartermaine’s son became Navy SEAL, Drew Cain.
