General Hospital Spoilers (GH): All About Ava As She Battles Her Sins–And Scars!

General Hospital spoilers (GH) for Wednesday, January 17 promise a very special episode as Ava examines her life–ALL of her life–as she prepares to go under the knife and emerge someone new. Seen as if on a TV screen, her life flashes before her like the soap it is.

A New Ava?
The question is–will that someone new just be the old Ava (Maura West), back and ready to destroy lives, becoming someone Griffin (Matt Cohen) hardly recognizes? Or will her journey since last May have a lasting effect on her whether her face is scarred or not?

Emotional Support
While Julian (William deVry) offers his support, Kiki (Hayley Erin) is a nervous wreck, and Griffin (Matt Cohen) gives words of encouragement all around.

Ava also has to confront two men that have been both lovers and mortal enemies through the years.

Strange Bedfellows
Sonny (Maurice Benard) receives a mysterious text message that brings him into the fold and Franco (Roger Howarth) thinks of the woman he thought he fathered a child with and looks to repay a favor.

Will Sonny taunt Ava as he always does, and will Franco be there for her as he has been since the fire?

Ava’s Mind
While all these people gather around Ava, so do her memories–and her demons.

Expect a whole lot of flashbacks of Ava’s six years in Port Charles that delve into her mind and we see how she thinks–although can anyone ever really understand how Ava thinks and why she thinks that way?

She even imagines Morgan–which could make for good TV. After all, the scars are a direct result of what she did to him.

The Old Ava?
In the end, what will the surgery bring? Will it even work? Will Ava chicken out? Will we see a new and improved Ava?

Or should Kiki, Griffin, and the rest of Port Charles really have something to worry about again?
