General Hospital Spoilers: Franco Steps In It Big Time With Liz

General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, July 16, 2020 reveal trouble for two couples in this blast from the not-too-distant past… May 4, 2020, to be exact. You won’t want to miss a dysfunctional moment of this spring episode.

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Liz (Rebecca Herbst) visits Franco (Roger Howarth) in his art therapy office and sees his worry over which bills to pay. She also spots the invite to Ava’s party unveiling her portrait and is horrified at the way she uses his past to sell him. He attempts to explain why it’s okay and will end up insulting Liz. He tries to fix things, but yeah, good luck with that, Franco.

Ava (Maura West) will have her own marriage issues when Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) gets a letter from Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) explaining he wants him back in his life — but under certain conditions. He wants Ava gone. He can certainly do that but Ava points out that he has to honor their post-nup. Things turn ugly and later Franco pays her a visit.

Loose Lips

Ava’s brother isn’t having an easy time of it either as Julian (William deVry) ends up dealing with an angry Neil (Joe Flanigan). The good doctor is ticked off at him for spouting off his big mouth, costing him his job, and possibly costing Alexis, whom he professes to still care about, hers as well. Julian will have a surprising response.

Speaking of Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she gets to spend some time with her daughters at the community center but gets more than she bargained for when Molly (Haley Pullos) can’t contain her sordid secret any longer and blurts out that she slept with Brando. But things will only devolve from there with these strong female personalities.

Kristina and Sam Face Off

Despite the argument stemming from Molly and her guilty feelings, the focus quickly shifts away from her thanks to Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) and Sam (Kelly Monaco), who get into it when they take different sides in how Molly should handle things. Suddenly, it will be about how saving Kristina caused all of Sam’s problems with Jason — and it gets ugly from there.

Jason (Steve Burton) and Brando (Johnny Wactor) see each other at the gym and while talk begins on a safe subject about the kids getting off house arrest, Sam soon enters the conversation and Brando has to explain why Jason’s love can’t stand him.
