Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is trying to be a mom in prison to a very big and active newborn, and although that seems to be going well, the rest of her life is not. At least she seems to get a visit from Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) that may or may not cheer her up. However, Esme remains on the defensive and says that she has to trust her instincts.
Soon, Esme receives yet another visitor, and it looks like this person alarms Laura as she tells them they cannot be there. Is Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) trying to figure out what Esme does and doesn’t remember about her time in the Wyndemere north tower? After Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) confession, he has more things to worry about.
Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) catch up with Cameron (William Lipton) and are surprised to learn that he will be leaving Port Charles soon to attend Stanford University. Spencer wants to know if Josslyn (Eden McCoy) might be the reason he is leaving, but Cameron doesn’t want to talk about it.

Josslyn is even involved with this announcement and asks Spencer why he is tarnishing such a big moment for Cam with what she perceives to be their petty differences.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is still smarting over the fact that Gregory (Gregory Harrison) is definitely keeping something from her and informs Sam (Kelly Monaco) that she knows something more is going on than he is letting on. Meanwhile, Gregory has a hard time not letting Chase (Josh Swickard) in on his secret.
Finally, Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) has a proposition to make, and she seems to make it to her father as Sonny (Maurice Benard) has other things on his mind — namely, who tried to shoot him and Dex (Evan Hofer).
