General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Gail (Susan Brown), through her emissary Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), arranges to have many of her dear friends, former co-workers, and family gather at the place she worked her heart out in for decades as the resident psychiatrist at General Hospital.

Once gathered, Alexis hands out envelopes to each person that have a piece of the original GH blueprints in them. Recipients include Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman), Laura (Genie Francis), her former best friend Monica (Leslie Charleson), stepson Scott (Kin Shriner) — and there’s even a special guest who arrives for the occasion — Laura’s mom, Dr. Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander).

Kevin and Lucy: On The Hunt

Different people work together, including ex-lovebirds, Lucy (Lynn Herring) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom), though they soon realize their envelopes don’t go together as his leads him to Laura. There are other pairings that are even more fun that will mean a lot to longtime viewers — or at least ones who were around in the 1980s.

That’s right — expect to see some sparks between old love rivals Monica and Lesley, who fought over Dr. Rick Webber (Chris Robinson) back in the day when Monica was still married to Dr. Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon). Sure, these two buried the hatchet a while ago but that doesn’t mean their banter won’t be tons of fun.

Remembering Gail

But of course, the object of this day is to remember all the years the hospital has been in their lives, those who worked there, and especially to honor Gail. It will be hard for Scott, who will feel some guilt about not being in better touch with her.

Look for someone special to help Scott through things. Also, look for a warm moment between Bobbie and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) as they remember a particularly rough time in Liz’s life that Bobbie helped her through.
