General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, June 16, 2020 reveal a tumultuous day in this blast from Sonny and Carly’s past… September 24, 2013, to be exact. You won’t want to miss an emotional moment of this classic episode.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) has gone off his meds and begins to spiral. He’s already blown up Morgan’s wedding to Kiki, alienating his son. Carly (Laura Wright) can see clearly what is happening and will do what she can but she can tell that he is completely broken inside.
He is still mourning the loss of Connie and is hard to reach. But Carly has been here before with her ex and knows what he would want. She tries to convince him to resume taking the lithium so that he can set a good example for his children. Will those words be enough to reach him in his darkest hour?
Michael (Chad Duell) still can’t believe what his father did at Morgan’s wedding. He sees Kiki (Kristen Alderson) and the two have a serious heart-to-heart talk that could end up changing everything for them.
Meanwhile, Morgan (Bryan Craig) ends up at Ava’s (Maura West). She’s heartbroken over Silas’s (Michael Easton) earlier treatment and he’s devastated over what happened at the wedding, believing he’s lost Kiki to Michael. Look for sparks to fly between these two lost souls.
Lulu and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) try to bond with their little girl, Connie (well, actually Georgie), and find they’re having some issues. But both are trying their best and they have a breakthrough that makes them feel tremendous love for their family.
In order to help Lulu’s dream come true means Maxie (Kirsten Storms) had to destroy someone else’s — and she’ll be living with the repercussions of that as Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) finally has it out with his ex about what she’s done with their daughter.
