Brad meets with Scott (Kin Shriner), who is apparently now his lawyer, and it doesn’t take long for Scott to get the feeling that someone else is mixed up in this crazy mess. He puts Brad on the spot, asking if there was anyone else. Will Brad blab about Julian’s part? Later, Brad gets a warning. Sonny isn’t happy with the havoc he wreaked on Michael.

Speaking of the father and son, Sonny (Maurice Benard) knows that Michael (Chad Duell) is pretty worried about how his custody battle against Nelle (Chloe Lanier) will go. Sonny advises him that things have a way of working out. Yes, because Sonny has always sat back and let things work themselves out. Uh-huh. Sure. Is Nelle watching her back?

Goodbye Taggert

Someone who could have used more people watching his back was Taggert (Réal Andrews) and because he didn’t, Mac hosts a gathering to celebrate his old friend’s life. But Trina (Sydney Mikayla) goes off when Curtis (Donnell Turner) enters the event, along with Mayor Laura (Genie Francis).

Trina blasts him in front of everyone that he is the reason her father is dead, shocking the poor man who was only doing what her father had asked of him. Guess Curtis shouldn’t hold out for a thank you from Trina for saving her life. Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) gets a reassuring text (is TJ safe?) and lifts a glass to celebrate her former partner’s life.

Neil and Alexis Give In

In New York City, Neil (Joe Flanigan) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) finally give in to temptation after dancing around each other for months. Alexis warns him afterward that if he tells the truth about what they’ve done in the hearing, he might as well kiss his career goodbye. Spoilers reveal Neil is interrupted — uh oh!

Alexis’s ex, Julian (William deVry), runs into Ava (Maura West) but it’s not your average brother/sister catch-up session. Instead, she warns her felony-prone brother that he can’t allow Sonny to ever find out what he did. She knows Sonny — and she knows his payback may cost her brother his life.
