Ava (Maura West) pays a condolence call to Carly (Laura Wright) — but honoring Sonny or his wishes is hardly what’s on her mind. Instead, she blindsides her rival, telling her she believes it’s best that they address the issue of Avery’s custody head-on. Which woman will come out on top?

Not that it will matter once Sonny (Maurice Benard) resurfaces but that won’t be soon from the looks of things. In what looks like a flashback (or is it?), he’s wearing a bandana, touching his head in pain — or is this a current predicament? After all, he seems to have no memory and was sporting a nasty gash. Did someone attempt to give him first aid?

Does Jax Know Best?

With Sonny allegedly out of commission, Jax (Ingo Rademacher) continues to worry about his daughter’s safety under Sonny’s roof. He lets Joss (Eden McCoy) know he’s not sure how far he would go to protect her, which must knock some sense into the teen to realize how serious things are as spoilers reveal that Jax and Joss come to an agreement.

Trina (Sydney Mikayla) visits Joss at Casa Corinthos and tells her she thinks she owes someone an apology. Does this mean she’s finally ready to go see her father, understanding (because of Jax) how important it is to fathers to protect their daughters?

Oh Golly, Miss Molly

Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) tries to make amends with Molly (Haley Pullos) but she has her own amends to make. Molly and Brando (Johnny Wactor) discuss that punch that TJ (Taj Bellow) threw at him and that they both know why he did it. Meanwhile, Curtis (Donnell Turner) intervenes with TJ. The younger man tells his stepfather he’s made choices he can live with. Has Curtis?
