General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, August 1, focus on a whole lot of anger and awkwardness. Plus, Trina sees something she doesn’t know if she can unsee.
Anger Danger
Okay, we sound like a broken record here, but Sonny (Maurice Benard) is once again lashing out. This isn’t the first time this week, and we’re sure it won’t be the last until someone figures out he’s in trouble thanks to those tampered meds he’s been taking for months and months. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is gone. Ava (Maura West — find out why Kin Shriner enjoys working with her), Cates (Adam Harrington), and Brennan (Charles Mesure) all know what’s up. What’s it going to take for the truth to come out?
Needless to say, Sonny’s lashing out can’t be good for his mental health or his chances of remaining a free man. One of these times, he will dig himself a hole he can’t get out of.
She’s Been Served
While Kristina (Kate Mansi) does need to back off her whole TJ-and-Molly-are-breaking-up mantra, it’s crazy how her family even talks about her. In Molly’s recent conversation with her mom, Alexis basically said Molly has all of her good traits, and Kristina has all of her bad traits. Wow. Who needs enemies when you have family?
But that’s not why she’s furious. Apparently, Kristina is on the warpath because Ava is forcing her to testify against her father. Will she be able to contain her anger? (Look who’s returning to GH in the latest Comings & Goings)
The Best of the Rest
The Kristina / Molly surrogacy situation has the entire family buzzing and debating. Look for Molly to confide in Sam (Kelly Monaco). What advice does Sam give her? Meanwhile, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is put on the spot. Is it Warpath Kristina who makes things awkward for Alexis? Or Ava?
In addition, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) makes a pitch to Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez). The music producer continues to work on redeeming Blaze to the public. So what idea does she come up with that will do just that? Finally, look for Trina (Tabyana Ali — who is speaking out against online trolls) to get an eyeful. Does she perhaps see something shady going on between Ava and Cates?
