General Hospital spoilers reveal lots of twists, turns, and shockers planned for May 2020 sweeps with four days of new episodes and one classic a week.
Here’s a look at what is going to happen in the lives of Port Charles residents next month, according to the May 4 issue of Soap Opera Digest!
Mike’s (Max Gail) Alzheimer’s isn’t content to take his life; first, it’s been both robbing him of his memories and creating tremendous pain for his loved ones. As his condition deteriorates, Sonny (Maurice Benard) will have to make some difficult decisions. Carly (Laura Wright) has stood by her husband during this time. Will she agree on what Sonny decides to do?
Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna (Finola Hughes) are headed to the altar. But will they make it to the successful exchange of “I do’s”? The couple deserves happiness, but theirs wouldn’t be the first wedding to be planned and not actually transpire. Will information about Peter ruin things?
Chase (Josh Swickard) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) have tricked Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) into thinking that they should marry one another in order for Michael to win custody of Wiley (Erik and Theo Olson).
Count on crafty Nelle (Chloe Lanier) to come up with a plan to combat anything Michael and his loved ones devise against her. Nelle may have more on her plate than Wiley. She has the other half of Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) necklace. Is that a red herring or is GH about to create an unexpected familial connection?
Cyrus (Jeff Kober) is a free man and more dangerous than ever as the mob war between him and Sonny and Jason (Steve Burton) heats up. Speaking of Jason, Sam (Kelly Monaco) has been wracked with angst over not being able to be with Jason due to her parole and him having a target on his back.
She’s also fully aware of the danger Cyrus presents. Watch for circumstances to arise that will allow Sam to take on at least one of her current challenges.
The news of Holly’s (Emma Samms) death (“death”?) has been devastating not only to Robert but also to longtime GH fans. Of course, those same fans know that Holly “died” once before, presumed dead in a plane crash.
The reports of that passing were exaggerated. Might the current news of her latest death be something that should be investigated? Let’s hope so.
General Hospital spoilers also show Neil (Joe Flanigan) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) have a clear path to a reunion now that some of their past troubles are no more. But can they move beyond the deception that they took part in so that Neil could hang onto his profession? Meanwhile, Julian (William deVry) will face a new threat to his lifestyle while Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) schemes to take over ELQ.
Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) continues to “work” with Cyrus, but things could get complicated with so many lives in the balance including Trina’s (Sydney Mikayla) and Portia’s (Brook Kerr). Trina’s not anxious to accept any help from Curtis (Donnell Turner) as she blames him for the death of her father, Taggert (Real Andrews).
The one-year anniversary of Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) passing is upon us. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) may finally be ready to move on and give her heart to someone else, but is that person even available to her? Meanwhile, Ava (Maura West) and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) play games with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco (Roger Howarth), but the tables may turn once the latter duo figures out what the newlyweds are up to!
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) has had blinders on when it comes to Peter (Wes Ramsey), but she’s a smart cookie, who over the course of her life has more often than not been a few steps ahead of those around her.
Will Peter continue to pull the wool over her eyes? Or will Maxie start to put pieces of the puzzle together? She hasn’t in two years, so not sure what may happen to make her wake up now. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check local listings for air times.
