General Hospital spoilers reveal quite a start to 2021 in Port Charles. Jason and Carly get very shocking news, Laura deals with her newfound family, and Dante finds himself in an untenable situation. According to the January 5, 2021 issue of Soap Opera Digest, you can expect all this and more as the new year begins.
Where is Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)? That’s the question on everyone’s mind, especially Jason’s and Carly’s. However, with Sonny missing, Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason (Steve Burton) take matters into their own hands and it will not end well at all. What do these two get themselves into and how will Cyrus (Jeff Kober) react?
Sam (Kelly Monaco) is still adjusting to life without a man and that takes her back to Aurora and the career she wanted just before the real Jason Morgan returned to town. She also finds a new friend in someone very unexpected, but also someone we know well. Then, she gets news about her health that upends everything.
The double wedding approaches, but things are not as rosy as they seem. As Finn (Michael Easton) and Jackie (Kim Delaney) have to reckon with their past and possibly more secrets, Anna (Finola Hughes) has to decide whether to tell Peter (Wes Ramsey) the truth about his maternity. And remember, she has not told the truth to Finn either, which could complicate her marital plans.
Two things Laura (Genie Francis) never expected to find at this point in her life were two half-brothers she never knew of before. And she certainly never expected Cyrus Renault to be one of them. As she gets to know them both, she might end up making them into enemies — or at least more of enemies than these men already are.
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is all alone with little direction — and also with little knowledge that he is under Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) control. He tries to put the pieces of his life back together without Lulu (Emme Rylan) but it’s not easy. Meanwhile, Liesl and Scott’s (Kin Shriner) little calamity in Geneva brings them into an intriguing story together.
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) returns to Port Charles and it looks like that pregnancy test was indeed positive, which is going to open up a whole new can of worms the Quartermaines and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) never expected. Meanwhile, Valentin seems to have his hands full helping Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) — and Martin (Michael E. Knight).
