Franco Tells The Truth On General Hospital… Sort Of…

Phony death certificates are apparently really easy to get, and nobody seems to believe the authenticity of the one that Andre gave Franco for Andrew Moore on General Hospital (GH).

That’s why Original Jason (Steve Burton), Bouncy Jason (Billy Miller), Sam (Kelly Monaco), and Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) all confront Franco (Roger Howarth) and he’s forced to tell the truth–that yeah, that death certificate is a phony.

Of course, he doesn’t bother telling each man which one is Jason Morgan and which one is Drew Moore. That could put him in danger, according to Co-Head Writer Shelly Altman.

In the November 20 issue of Soap Opera Digest, Altman lays out Franco’s worst nightmare scenario if ‘Patient 6’ turns out to be Jason:

“He left five years ago thinking Franco was dead and for good reason, for what he had done to Sam,” Altman said.

She also pointed out that Franco and Bouncy Jason had learned to at least tolerate each other, and Original Jason has not.

Franco also might be afraid he’ll lose Liz (Rebecca Herbst) to Bouncy Jason if Sam goes back to Original Jason and the other one suddenly becomes available. So, there are his reasons for choosing not to let on to what he knows.

Both Jasons are determined to prove that they are Jason Morgan, but Original Jason has an advantage in this because he has Sonny (Maurice Benard) on his side helping him find proof. Altman also says the key can be locked in Bouncy Jason’s mind because he came to town three years ago as a near blank slate.

Soap Hub was just thinking it itself….hmmmm…we bet the most fascinating part of this story could be Bouncy Jason’s childhood memories, whatever they may be…
