General Hospital spoilers for the Tuesday, May 7 episode focus on Anna’s escalating suspicions about Valentin. Also, a sudden one-on-one conversation between Sonny and Jordan. Plus, Carly eavesdrops on a certain FBI Agent that she may or may not be attracted to — and this conversation propels her to do something risky later in the week.
Valentin Validation
Anna (Finola Hughes) has a Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) problem on her hands. He thinks Anna’s none the wiser to his illegal actions and leadership role at Pikeman. But Anna’s on to him. She knows he’s lying about everything, including his friendship (or lack thereof) with Brennan (Charles Mesure). (Check out the Best GH fan theories here)
Surely, when Felicia (Kristina Wagner) warns Anna about Valentin, it’ll validate everything she’s feeling about her ex-paramour. And surely, this validation will spur her to step up her plans to out Valentin’s villainous plans for Port Charles.
Conversations Had, and Conversations Eavesdropped
Pikeman is also at the heart of what’s going down between John (Adam J. Harrington) and Jason (Steve Burton). In the weekly promo, it seems like John and Jason hold a clandestine meeting — well, clandestine except for Carly, who manages to eavesdrop on John. What better way to learn who your friend or enemy is, right?
Interestingly, Sonny (Maurice Benard — who talks about each of the Carlys here) meets up with someone he doesn’t connect with all that often. Lately, he’s been spending time with Ava and Natalia. What is the nature of his upcoming interaction with Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford? And will she fall on Team Anna and Laura, who are suddenly writing Sonny off?
Potential Personality Changes and Career Pivots
Get ready for Laura (Genie Francis) to visit Heather (Alley Mills) at Pentonville. Now that Heather’s hip replacement has been…replaced, what kind of person is she? Is she someone feeling guilty for her numerous sins against the people of Port Charles? Is there a softer, contrite version of Heather that’s making herself known? If so, how will Laura react to that?
Finally, after careful consideration and Drew’s full-on pitching prowess, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) accepts the Aurora Media head’s offer. Instead of pulling late night shifts at the hospital, she’ll be doing some good in a different way. She’ll be the new spokesperson for that bone marrow charity Drew (Cameron Mathison) has been talking about.
