A Shocked Drew
The weekly spoilers for Thursday‘s episode finally mention Drew (Cameron Mathison). We’ve been wondering when we would actually see him in the hospital after his massive stroke. In Monday’s episode, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen, who says Willow’s done playing fair) told Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that Drew “can hear and understand everything around him, but he cannot move or communicate, other than by blinking his eyes.”
Drew will be understandably stunned if or when Willow shows her true colors right in front of him. She could actually let him know that everything that has happened to him — from getting shot to having a stroke — is because of her. And she will probably relish that moment. And he can’t do anything about it because he can’t talk or move. A nightmare of a predicament for Drew.
Chase Loses His You-Know-What
Chase (Josh Swickard, who appears on Maurice Benard’s latest State of Mind) will undoubtedly eat his words and regret his actions once he finds out that Willow is guilty. However, for some reason, he is about to lose his cool. There are many ways that this could happen.
Maybe it has to do with Michael (Rory Gibson), since the guy seems to be triggering for him. If, say, the PCPD decided not to bring charges against Michael, that may cause Chase to ballistic. The teasers also suggest that Michael briefs Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard). He could have good news for his parents.
Another option is that Chase’s demotion sets in, and when he goes back to work, he has to wear that cop uniform again. His career is backsliding, and he thinks it’s unfair because he was right about Willow. Little does he know that he wasn’t. Finally, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) could decide to put off the adoption again. This would upset Chase because he really wants a child sooner rather than later.
Help and Explanations
Port Charles’s lawyers are making bank right now. Alexis, Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), Marco (Adrian Anchondo), and Martin (Michael E. Knight) have no shortage of clients. On Thursday, look for Curtis (Donnell Turner) to seek help from Alexis. He probably wants to hire her as his divorce lawyer.
And finally, Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) might need a lawyer soon. When he explains himself to Trina, this has to be about the night of the shooting, right? Kai knows who shot Drew, but he and Trina (Tabyana Ali) felt they couldn’t come forward because they would have to cop to breaking and entering, stealing and tampering with evidence, obstructing justice, and whatever else they did.
What if Kai wants to follow through on going to the PCPD and telling all…alone? He’ll do anything to protect Trina, but he also can’t live with the guilt of knowing that Willow committed the crime.
