The General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, February 19, 2026, focus on Maxie returning home to Port Charles and her family. Meanwhile, Michael might wish he were anywhere else but home as he lands in the hot seat, most likely thanks to Chase.

Key Takeaways

  • Maxie reunites with her family as her long-awaited homecoming finally happens.
  • Michael faces intense scrutiny.
  • Willow delivers news that could shift several power dynamics in Port Charles.

Welcome Home, Maxie!

Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) loved ones gather to welcome her home. She has been in a coma for the last six months, and now she’s awake and eager to get back to her family and her life.

GH’s weekly video preview features the homecoming with Bailey Lou (Riley and Miley Plonski) finally getting face time with her mother. James (Gary James Fuller) and Georgie (Lily Fisher) had already reunited with her in Boston. Everybody is so happy that she’s back home where she belongs. But the question is: when will she come face to face with Nathan (Ryan Paevey)?

Michael’s in the Hot Seat

Even though Chase (Josh Swickard) was demoted, he still thinks he knows best. He knows he should stay out of the Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) shooting case, but he can’t help but stir the pot. Because it’s not enough for him that a jury returned a not guilty verdict. He wants Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) to be proven 100% innocent, which we know she isn’t.

He knows that a key to Drew’s house is on Michael’s key ring — he just doesn’t know that Willow planted it. So during Tuesday’s episode, he brought up a key theory to Nathan, and the detective ran with it. Nathan later served a search warrant for Michael’s keys. Michael (Rory Gibson) willingly and quickly gave them up, but, of course, that didn’t concern Chase.

If Michael shot Drew, why would he keep the key to Drew’s house on his key ring? That would only incriminate him, and he’s had PLENTY of time to get rid of it. Needless to say, on Thursday, Michael’s in the hot seat, and it must be because of Chase’s manipulations. If Michael faces questions about that key, can he talk his way out of it? That key may not be the flex Chase thinks it is.

Willow’s Big News

The weekly spoilers reveal that Ric (Rick Hearst) makes a stunning claim. In addition, Willow delivers news to Drew. When Willow tells Drew that Sidwell (Carlo Rota) wants her to take Drew’s congressional seat, she will undoubtedly relish every second of it. Because of her, Drew’s lost the ability to talk or move. And now he has to listen to her talk about potentially taking his place in Washington, D.C. This has to be torture for Drew.

Meanwhile, Alexis makes an observation. GH writers are setting the stage for an Alexis versus Willow showdown, with Laura (Genie Francis) urging Alexis to take over Drew’s congressional seat. This potential battle could result in the downfall of either or both women.
