The General Hospital spoilers for Monday, February 16, 2026, focus on Maxie, who is awake from her coma and learning about everything that happened while she was unconscious. Meanwhile, back-from-the-dead Nathan is suddenly blindsided. And Jason and Carly catch up.

Key Takeaways

  • Maxie wakes up and begins processing shocking news about Nathan
  • Nathan is blindsided as emotions and complications collide
  • Jason and Carly reconnect, and Britt takes a big risk.
  • Ric and Elizabeth go out on a date

Shocked and Stunned

At the end of the Friday, February 13 episode, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) woke up. And after reconnecting with Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), James (Gary James Fuller), and Georgie (Lily Fisher), Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told her that Nathan (Ryan Paevey) was alive. That was the cliffhanger.

So when the action continues on Monday, Maxie is understandably stunned. She might not even believe the news at first. But it’s true. And she’s going to want to see him again. But how will hearing of Nathan’s return truly impact Maxie?

Meanwhile, Nathan is blindsided. The news about Maxie coming out of the coma probably spreads around Port Charles. And this may mean that Nathan finds out, which will make him happy. However, it may cause him to feel guilt and possibly discomfort. After all, he has made it clear to Maxie’s best friend, Lulu (Alexa Havins), that he has feelings for her and wants to explore them.

Besties Reconnect

Elsewhere, Jason (Steve Burton, who is about to take a break from GH) and Carly (Laura Wright) catch up, according to the weekly spoilers. The besties haven’t spent much time together lately. Their lives have taken separate paths. Jason has been busy being a father to Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), connecting with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), and helping Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Joss (Eden McCoy). And now worrying about Anna (Finola Hughes).

As for Carly, she has been sheltering a fugitive. She and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) are on a mission to bring down Jack (Chris McKenna) and extricate her daughter from the WSB. It’ll be interesting to see how much catch-up Jason and Carly actually do, given that so much of what they’re doing involves keeping secrets.

For some reason, one of the things they do chat about is Ric (Rick Hearst). In the video sneak peek at the end of Friday’s episode, Carly tells Jason, “Sonny insists that Ric doesn’t have an agenda, but I don’t buy it.”

Valentine’s Date

Ric pops up in the teasers as well when he takes Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) on a date. For a second, we thought Liz might cancel on him because of her conversation with Lucas (Van Hansis). She was headed out to meet Ric when he told her that he had learned Marco (Anchondo) was not the man he thought he was.

But in the Friday sneak peek, it appears that the date happens, and so does some light banter. “Are you implying that I don’t know how to have fun?” Elizabeth asks her ex.

Risky Business

Finally, Britt may send herself on a solo mission next week, taking a big risk. During her recent chat in the lab with Marco, she tried to get the location of her meds out of him, but it didn’t work. So maybe she tries to search for the medication that prolongs her life on her own. She needs to get a dose to Jason so he can have someone reverse-engineer it.

That way, she can end her association with Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Sidwell (Carlo Rota). If this is what happens, will she be successful?
