The case is closed on Port Charles district attorney Margaux Dawson — at least as far as Elizabeth Hendrickson is concerned. The actress has bid farewell to General Hospital as she returns to The Young And The Restless where she’ll be playing Chloe once more.
The actress, flowers in hand, posed for a photo outside of the ABC studios where GH tapes and announced she was moving on to the next adventure!
“It was an incredible year at @generalhospitalabc playing Margaux,” Hendrickson wrote. “Thanks to all my new friends, It was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. On to the next !”
Hendrickson debuted on GH a year ago as the prosecutor who handled the case against Carly (Laura Wright) after Nelle (Chloe Lanier) framed her for trying to kill her.
Margaux’s history was fleshed out after it turned out she blamed Sonny (Maurice Benard) for her father’s death. The plot thickened when Margaux was revealed to be a follower of Dawn of Day, the cult run by Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).
Now, however, Margaux’s story seems to be coming to an end. Rumors started buzzing last month when the actress made the scene at the CBS Daytime post-Daytime Emmy bash and posted an Instagram photo of herself with former YR leading man Greg Rikaart.
So while GH viewers will no longer be seeing Hendrickson as Margaux they can tune in to YR to see the actress as Chloe!
