General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Faces Alarming Experience

General Hospital spoilers for the Wednesday, May 22 episode focus on characters reacting to alarming circumstances while others go on the offense.

Potential Crisis?

Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) life requires much juggling. She balances her Head Nursing duties with being a single mom. And, of course, there’s her relationship with Finn (Michael Easton).

One of these situations may cause alarm. Does she learn about Finn’s struggles? Or does this have to do with his dad? Other options include a potential crisis involving her children or maybe her perceived financial issues. Whatever the source of the alarming reaction, something needs to happen because it’s been a while since Elizabeth has generated story. And that’s something we’d like to see sooner rather than later.

Glimmer of Hope

Look for Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) to issue a warning to Sonny (Maurice Benard). Does he choose this time to draw boundaries between his personal and professional lives? Again, this is exactly the scenario he’s been trying to avoid. His dad could be in trouble with the law, and he might have to remove himself from the situation completely and let the rest of the PCPD do what they need to do.

Here’s where the glimmer of hope could come in. Ava gets key intel. Hopefully, this has to do with her one-woman investigation into who tampered with Sonny’s bipolar meds. Surely, she’s close to discovering the truth of Valentin’s involvement in bringing down Sonny, thereby paving the way for Pikeman to do their business without his interference. Ava’s a clever, resourceful woman. If anybody can do it, she can.

Reactive and Proactive

This week, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is busy fighting for her legal career, which was ripped away from her. Obviously, this task isn’t easy. And she’s facing an opponent that could be a formidable obstacle to becoming a lawyer again (Details on Lane Davies joining GH can be found here). What happens when Alexis is thrown for a loop? Will she immediately bounce back?

Finally, Kristina (Kate Mansi) attempts to process what’s happened and bounce back from seeing her dad choose violence at the wedding reception. Teasers suggest she’s about to make an offer. Who will this “offer” involve, and will it somehow serve to cut her off from her dad?
