Laura (Genie Francis) filled Anna (Finola Hughes) and DA Turner (Nazneen Contractor) in on her trip to Ireland. The mayor informed them that Ezra (Daniel Cosgrove) would help out in her absence. Ezra arrived and made a joke about taking down Sonny (Maurice Beanrd). No one appreciated it, and Laura questioned her decision to give him a second chance. Lucas (Van Hansis) and Joe (Jonathan Bennett) learned they had signed a lease on the same apartment as they moved in. When Joe realized Lucas had signed the lease first, he was set to leave, but Lucas told him he could keep his stuff there for now. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was furious to learn her new WSB assignment was to be CEO of JJE. Jack (Chris McKenna) explained that it was all the bureau’s idea and that, for some reason, the company was on its radar. Josslyn realized Jax (Ingo Rademacher) was the target. Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) ran into Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Phoebe (Lucia & Luna Creighton) at the boathouse. Brook Lynn was oblivious as Hudson kept his eye on the baby. Alone, Hudson called someone with an update and insisted he would make Josslyn quit as CEO. Joe moved his stuff into the apartment. Lucas suggested that he stay there until he found another place, and Joe accepted. Ric (Rick Hearst) spotted Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) at the hospital and left. Lulu (Alexa Havins) met with Ric. She advised him to focus on what he and Elizabeth enjoyed doing together. Ric asked Elizabeth to go to Sonny’s BBQ. Elizabeth accepted and asked him on a date to see an exhibit at The Chuck. Carly feared what happened to Anna would happen to Josslyn. Michael and Brook Lynn argued over Willow living at the gatehouse. Gio overheard and defended Brook Lynn. Sonny was surprised Ric hadn’t proposed to Elizabeth. Ric insisted he listened to Sonny’s advice. Later, as Dante and Elizabeth bonded, Ric stood back instead of reacting. Elizabeth noticed and was proud of him. Ava dropped off Avery, leading to insults and jabs between her and Sonny. After she left, Ava met with Drew, all riled up. Drew calmed her down. Then she asked that she distract Jack while Drew searched his room. Ava was reluctant about using a WSB agent but agreed. Justine stopped by Alexis’ to give Molly (Kristen Vaganos) case files. Jack warned Carly to stay out of Josslyn’s latest assignment for the WSB. Valentin, Jack, and Carly sparred over their personal entanglements. Jack also told Carly that Anna would always come first with Valentin. Alone, Valentin reminded Carly that was not true. Carly compared his relationship with Anna to hers with Jason. Nina warned Ava about teaming up with Drew. Ava stood her ground and insisted it was the only way to get even with Sonny. When Jack got up to take a phone call, Ava put the drug in his drink. Serena (Kelly Kruger) summoned Michael to a meeting at the Metro Court pool. Michael showed up in a suit, while Serena was sunbathing in a bikini. Serena pitched a Deception-going-green idea to Michael as they flirted. Nina noticed and wasted no time scolding Michael and calling Serena a hooker. Serena introduced herself by bringing up the empowering women that Nina had covered for Crimson. Nina still showed her fury. Anna and Jordan rehashed everything with Curtis and Isaiah. Jordan regretted not encouraging Curtis to take the plea deal. Curtis got a lecture from the warden at Pentonville about staying safe and out of trouble. When Curtis was moved to his new cell, he learned who his cellmate was, but the person wasn’t shown. Laura met with Sonny to inform him she was leaving town. Drew was there with Ava. Sonny worried Drew would use Rocco to get to Laura or him. Laura sidetracked Drew as he was about to go search Jack’s room so that she could meet with him and Sonny to find common ground.
