The General Hospital spoilers for October 12 reveal the inevitable Drew-Lulu confrontation. He isn’t happy about the Invader article Lulu wrote, which exposed Willow’s role in causing Drew’s locked-in state. And by unhappy, we clearly mean he goes ballistic like only Drew can. Elsewhere, a winning bid is made for the piers. Will Sonny beat the competition for the property he used to own?
Key Takeaways
- Drew angrily confronts Lulu over her explosive article exposing Willow.
- Dante questions Sidwell about his claims in Lulu’s exposé.
- A winning bid for the piers could change Sonny’s future.
- Emma supports Gio, and Trina is under surveillance.
Drew Unleashes His Anger at Lulu Over Her Incendiary Article
Lulu (Alexa Havins) quickly dropped her exposé on the masses of Port Charles. She had just interviewed Sidwell (Carlo Rota) two seconds earlier. Please tell us she at least pulled an all-nighter. Hopefully, her research will back up what she wrote. But since Sidwell is already telling Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that the article was filled with lies, Lulu’s reputation and maybe even her career could take some hits.
She’s going to have to come up with answers, because: a) She snuck into Sidwell’s room using Felicia’s badge. b) Sidwell will probably chalk up the conversation to a fever dream. c) She didn’t contact Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) or tell Drew (Cameron Mathison) about her interview with Sidwell — to get their side of things.
Drew’s already trying to figure out how to solve the problem this article is posing. He seems to think that the police will take another, more focused look at Brennan’s case since he’s mentioned in the article.
Needless to say, he is very unhappy, and so he goes into hardcore Drew mode when he confronts Lulu on Monday. The sneak peek at the end of Friday’s episode included the former congressman unloading on Lulu, using threats and intimidation tactics, as usual.
Sidwell’s in the Hot Seat
We’ll see the continuation of the Dante and Sidwell conversation. The acting police commissioner has questions for the crime lord. They won’t have to do with the reason Sidwell is in the hospital, because Dante recused himself since his father is a person of interest in the Pentonville beating investigation.
Instead, Dante and Sidwell will continue discussing Lulu’s article. Sidwell will surely play up the fact that he was on painkillers to explain how he fed Lulu quotes that incriminated him. He’ll do anything to prevent increased interest from the police or the WSB.
Young Adult Drama
Gio (Giovanni Mazza) moved out of Sonny’s, and he’s understandably a mess over one of the major reasons why. He wants to believe that Sonny (Maurice Benard) didn’t order his guys to rough up Sidwell and subsequently Curtis (Donnell Turner). But he can’t help but think it’s more than plausible.
So look for Emma (Braedyn Bruner) to support Gio on Monday. As much as he wants to live with Emma, he hates that he hurt his grandfather at the same time.
Meanwhile, we’ll get a reminder that there’s someone out there who has taken a creepy interest in Trina (Tabyana Ali). Trina’s under surveillance. When will she or someone close to her realize that she may be in real trouble?
Who Wins the Battle for the Piers?
Sonny really wants his waterfront property back. And on Monday, a winning bid is made for the piers. Sonny is in the running. There’s also Drew and maybe even Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). But there could be a wild card in this whole thing.
Joss (Eden McCoy) is going rogue and has decided to use JJE to help her take down Sonny. In Friday’s sneak peek, the WSB agent tells Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel), “It’s absolutely worth it if Sonny loses.” Could she make a play for the piers just to keep them out of Sonny’s hands?
