In the October 9 episode of General Hospital, Lulu’s article continued to make waves. Chase convinced a guilty Willow to do damage control that lands Lulu in a lawsuit, while Sidwell denied speaking to Lulu as her reputation was questioned. All of this, and Lulu wasn’t even seen in the episode.

Key Takeaways

  • Chase and Willow plotted revenge on the Quartermaines.
  • Sidwell called Lulu’s article a bunch of lies.
  • Lulu has no idea what’s coming for her.

Willow Plays Naive as She Gives Into Chase

Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) tried desperately to shut down Chase’s (Josh Swickard) idea of a lawsuit. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) ate up every word as Chase defended her.

The more that Chase declared Willow as innocent and railroaded by Michael (Rory Gibson), Tracy (Jane Elliot), and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), the more an idea formed in Willow’s mind. It became clear to Willow that she could use this to get closer to Chase.

Eventually, Willow agreed to sue Lulu (Alexa Havins), which Chase believed would force the Quartermaines to reveal they masterminded the entire article. Chase wanted revenge, and Willow wanted Chase, and Lulu gave them each a way to make that happen.

Sidwell Throws Lulu Under the Bus

After Britt left Willow’s, she made a beeline for Sidwell (Carlo Rotta), who was in the dark about the article. Britt happily showed it to him.

Sidwell claimed he spoke to Lulu in a dream as he described how the interview went down. Britt called him out. Then she reminded him that the WSB could be coming for him, since the drug mentioned in the article was directly linked to the bureau, thanks to Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).

Britt offered Sidwell a way out, which was not revealed on-screen. Instead, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) arrived to ask an alone Sidwell about the article. Sidwell called it all lies.

Lulu Pays the Price for Willow’s Crime

Once again, Willow has people protecting her, like Chase and Britt, so Lulu will suffer for printing the truth. Whatever Britt said to Sidwell made him change his tune real quick, and that means even more trouble for Lulu.

It’s bad enough that Willow agreed to file a lawsuit against Lulu, knowing she’s guilty of doing exactly what Lulu said. Throw in Sidwell teaming up with Britt, who literally helped him for Willow, and things just got seriously worse for Lulu, except for two things.

Lulu wrote the truth, and the Quartermaine family didn’t put her up to it. Tracy will fight to the death to protect Lulu, along with clearing the Quartermaine name.

Unfortunately, Lulu will face serious scrutiny until the truth comes out. That is, unless Drew (Cameron Mathison) backs up her claims. Ava (Maura West) did suggest that Drew bury Willow, but Drew’s a loose cannon, so who knows what he will do.
