Valentin, Lulu, Charlotte
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is back, and his return will, of course, cause a number of different reactions. For one, look for Lulu (Alexa Haviins) to be livid. Although she has a lot to be upset about these days, considering her kids caused drama and chaos over that break-in to Dalton’s lab.
This time, however, Lulu may be upset that Valentin’s in Port Charles. And that means he will want to see Charlotte (Bluesy Burke). Steinmauer is a maximum security prison, so it was unlikely that Valentin could go anywhere. Lulu felt okay about letting her daughter visit with her dad under those circumstances.
He eventually got out of there, however. In PC, Lulu may be afraid that he will, once again, go on the run and take their daughter with him. Unfortunately for Lulu, Charlotte is relieved. Again, this could be about the break-in, but the teen has to be relieved that her dad is in town and she can see him again, unencumbered by shackles or locked doors, or high-stakes precautions.
Laura & Sonny
What one hundred percent does have to do with Dalton (Daniel Goddard) is the situation between Laura (Genie Francis) and Sonny (Maurice Benard, whose latest SOM features Scarlett Spears). Sidwell (Carlo Rota) visited both of them and leveraged the power he has over them. He has photographic evidence of the mobster and the mayor standing in front of the trunk of Laura’s car. And Dalton’s dead body can be seen.
He now wants free rein to do whatever he wants in Port Chuck, and he wants Sonny to give up the piers, since the good residents of PC rejected Measure C in the recent election. And they showed much faith in Laura and reelected her. Sidwell isn’t letting these setbacks get him down. He resorted to Plan B.
And now Sonny and Laura are forced to compare notes and then, hopefully, come up with a plan. Sidwell’s so confident he has them under his thumb. However, they both don’t do well when someone else is calling the shots. Hopefully, they will come up with a way to show Sidwell who’s really the boss in Port Charles.
Elsewhere in Port Charles
Meanwhile, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) is a hot mess. At the Brown Dog at the end of last week, she drowned her sorrows, and Jason (Steve Burton) had to help her home. While there, he even gave her her shot and probably has a million questions for her. But she’s in no condition for those right now. According to the weekly spoilers, Jason watches over Britt.
Finally, Justine (Nazneen Contrator) details her plan. This could be related to Rocco’s (Finn Carr) case, which suddenly lost strength once Dalton disappeared. Or this could be about the Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) investigation. Which one will take precedence on Tuesday?
