After pre-emptions for a classic episode and sports coverage take over the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day episodes, General Hospital returns with new episodes on Thursday, December 26. In addition to Willow defending her actions, Michael vents to Jason, and Dante gets alarming news.
On the Defense
Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) seems to be doubling down on her hero worship of Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison). In GH’s Weekly Promo, we spotted her hugging Drew as Nina (Cynthia Watros) gave the two a major side-eye. However, Willow starts thinking the worst about Michael (Chad Duell) when she hears that he helped give Drew the ol’ heave-ho from Aurora Media.
Apparently, somebody is about to call her out for what many people saw go down in the Quartermaine nursery. As a result, Willow defends her actions. Is that the wise thing to do? Does this mean she wants no part of her marriage? What will she think when she finds out that Drew repeatedly slept with Nina while simultaneously giving her goo-goo eyes and secret kisses?

Anger and Alarm
While Willow defends her actions, Michael might take the opportunity to tear her apart when he vents to Jason (Steve Burton). After all, she has the kids, and he has limited interaction with them this holiday season. Does he attempt to figure out his next moves regarding his and Willow’s children? Or will he look at his actions, remember that his behavior hasn’t been stellar either, and choose to deal with things more calmly and rationally?
Elsewhere, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is experiencing Christmas without Sam (formerly Kelly Monaco). At the same time, he is dealing with a returned Lulu (Alexis Havins) and navigating all the changes. Does he discover that Lulu left town to find Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) and asked Rocco (Finn Francis Carr) not to tell anyone about the phone call?
Catching Up and Strategizing
Sonny (Maurice Benard) has been making his rounds this holiday season. He’s offering advice to his children and comforting Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) in a church. Plus, he’s clashing with Brennan (Charles Mesure). And now, it’s time for Sonny to catch up with Laura (Genie Francis). So, is Laura pro-Sonny again? We’ll see after this week.

Finally, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) are trying for a baby. Who knows, maybe by next Christmas, they will have a little one of their own. Is that why they are strategizing? Or are they focused on something else for the moment?
