Missing Monica
This is the first holiday season since Monica (the late Leslie Charleson) died, and it’s natural that her family will feel her absence and reflect on the force of nature that she was.
The weekly spoilers reveal that Tracy (Jane Elliot) is one of those missing Monica something fierce. It must be hard for her, especially since Monica left her the house in her will. Will there be flashbacks as Tracy remembers her friend and potentially their dramatic and deeply satisfying relationship?
A Sidwell Shindig
While Tracy is in a somber mood this holiday season, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) looks to spice things up when he hosts a soirée at Wyndemere.
One of the interesting elements of what can only be considered the party of the year is who will be on his guest list. Despite Sidwell’s best efforts, he hasn’t exactly made friends. Jordan (Tanisha Harper), who’s set to make an observation on Friday, will have to be there since she works for him. Maybe even the Deception ladies.
Plus, Sidwell knows how to secure leverage over powerful individuals. He has Laura (Genie Francis), Sonny (Maurice Benard), Drew (Cameron Mathison), and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) under his thumb. Will they be in attendance? Who will make the trek to Spoon Island?
More importantly, will anyone discover Anna (Finola Hughes) during this soirée?
More Port Charles News
Kevin (Jon Lindstrom, pulling double duty) is thankfully in town still. It’s essential that Laura has as much support as possible. Sidwell has her by the crosshairs, and while the mayor can take care of herself, the crime lord has proved to be a formidable foe. So why is Kevin suddenly voicing his gratitude, and to whom?
Finally, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) tries to change Drew’s mind. After Alexis’s disastrous questioning of Portia (Brook Kerr) on the stand, Drew was livid. And so the congressman expressed his unhappiness with Willow’s lawyer. He told her in no uncertain terms that she could forget about seeing Scout (Cosette Abinante) over the holidays.
Yup, everything about Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) representing Willow is conditional. Drew has always wanted her to focus on Michael (Rory Gibson) and nobody else. This Portia sideshow was unacceptable to him. And now they’re no closer to Willow going free.
It appeared that Willow was appalled at Drew for being so harsh and awful. Perhaps she will try to get Drew to change his mind and let Scout see her family.
