The General Hospital spoilers for Friday, December 19, focus on Chase making a pair of arrests. In other news, Isaiah supports Portia, and Jason issues a warning.

Key Takeaways

  • Chase makes two arrests that could impact multiple investigations
  • Jason issues a warning that signals rising danger
  • Isaiah becomes Portia’s primary source of support
  • Tensions continue to build across Port Charles as secrets loom

Next on General Hospital

During the Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) shooting investigation, Chase (Josh Swickard) has made no bones about being Team Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). He believes she is innocent and has even attempted to investigate the case off the books. And his primary focus was on blowing up Michael’s alibi.

On Friday, the weekly spoilers reveal that Chase does his job when he makes a pair of arrests. It’s unclear whether these busts are related to Drew’s case. But if they are, then they may have a huge impact on Willow’s trial.

Somebody secretly overheard Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Michael (Rory Gibson) talk about the night Drew was shot, and that Michael was there. Are they the two Chase arrests? Or maybe someone finally finds out that Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) were in Drew’s house that night. And that they also stole incriminating evidence from the congressman’s safe.

Perhaps the arrests are unrelated to the trial and have everything to do with another case, such as Operation Find Valentin. Who is Chase about to take into the precinct?

Heated Debate

Speaking of Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), he’s currently a fugitive and making himself comfortable in Carly’s attic, which is much better than the night he spent outside in the shed.

The two have the same goal. Take Brennan (Chris McKenna) down, but they likely have conflicting methods for accomplishing this monumental task. As a result, Valentin and Carly (Laura Wright) debate. They are both smart and stubborn individuals. Who will win whatever they’re arguing about?

Warnings and Resolutions

While Carly’s busy debating Valentin, Jason (Steve Burton) and Joss (Eden McCoy) have their own situations to tackle. For example, Jason issues a warning, which is one of his go-to moves. His current favorite person to warn is Britt (Kelly Thiebaud).

Hopefully, he’ll issue a warning to Sidwell (Carlo Rota), because that man is committing dastardly deeds after dastardly deeds unchecked. And Jason would be the best person to check him.

Elsewhere, Joss makes a resolution, even though it’s not quite New Year’s Eve yet. What will Joss vow to do? Stop lying to her family and friends? Get out of the WSB? Find Vaughn (Bryce Durfee)? There are so many resolutions she could and should make right about now.

Support System of One

Finally, Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) has taken it upon himself to be there for the pregnant Portia (Brook Kerr). He wants to take care of her, whether this baby is his or not. After Portia tells Curtis (Donnell Turner) that she doesn’t want to go home with him, where he and Trina can take care of her, she disappears from her hospital room.

And she probably ends up at Isaiah’s serene and remote cabin. This way, Isaiah can support Portia, as the teasers suggest. And Portia can get the peace and drama-free existence she desperately needs. And then she can get that paternity test done, right?
