General Hospital Spoilers December 18: Ava’s Broke — Will Nina Bail Her Out?

In addition to Ava asking Nina for a favor, General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, December 18, focus on Drew stealing a moment with Willow and Michael conferring with Curtis.

Broke and In Need

Ava (Maura West) has no idea what happened to her funds. One minute, all that money from her divorce settlement with Nikolas (Adam Huss) was in her account; the next minute, it was all gone. And now she can’t pay Ric’s (Rick Hearst) well-deserved but exorbitant bill. She can’t even pay for dinner.

Ava is nothing but resourceful. She must be thankful she worked to repair her friendship with Nina (Cynthia Watros). Ava suddenly has to ask Nina for a favor. Since Nina’s also super wealthy, Ava must ask her for a loan and maybe even a place to stay. There’s no way she should live at the Metro Court while she figures out who stole her money. Will Nina be able to give her what she needs?

Complicated Conversations

There’s a little trouble between besties Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason (Steve Burton). Something needs to be cleared up, so Carly confronts Jason. The Metro Court co-owner hates being out of the loop, so she might need Jason to tell her why he stayed quiet about Drew’s extracurricular activities. After all, she asked him what caused Stone Cold to go stone cold on Drew’s face. And he said nothing.

Elsewhere, Carly’s son takes care of business. The business of kicking Drew (Cameron Mathison) to the curb at Aurora Media. So, unsurprisingly, Michael (Chad Duell) confers with Curtis (Donnell Turner). Curtis wants to lead the charge on ousting Drew. Will Michael go along with his plan? Grief and Stupidity

What is Drew thinking when he steals a moment with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)? Sure, Michael’s wife kept ignoring Drew’s calls and texts. But can he read the room? She needs time to process the disaster that just happened during the Quartermaine Christmas party.

Finally, Dex (Evan Hofer) is dead, and Joss (Eden McCoy) is understandably having trouble wrapping her head around it. He was completely healthy, recovering, and smiling after his surgery. He was fine! Now he’s gone. Needless to say, Joss needs her friends. Look for Trina (Tabyana Ali) to support Joss through this terrible time.
