In addition to tensions flaring at the Q Christmas party, General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, December 12, focus on Ava and Ric getting an unwelcome surprise while Kristina brainstorms.
We’re not sure why we didn’t get a Quartermaines Thanksgiving, but at least we’re getting a seemingly early Christmas party. Both festive events would have been preferable. However, when tensions flare at the Quartermaine Christmas party, what’s the cause?
The clues may lie in GH’s weekly promo. In the video, there are a few shocked faces, including Nina (Cynthia Watros), Olivia (Lisa LoCicero), Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), and Chase (Josh Swickard). Also, Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) look especially stunned and speechless. Meanwhile, Michael’s outside looking oh so suspicious. What happens that threatens to blow up everybody’s good time? WDMD = What Does Michael (Chad Duell) Do?

We may be on a high following the verdict that stated Ava (Maura West) was not guilty. On the other hand, Ava and Ric (Rick Hearst)? They should be, too, but something stops them in their tracks when they suddenly get an unwelcome surprise. Do they receive word that there’s a civil lawsuit since the criminal end of things didn’t work? Will whatever lump of coal Ava and Ric receive ruin their holiday season?
While the two probably contemplate how to respond to said unwelcome surprise, Kristina (Kate Mansi) brainstorms. Is she coming up with ideas for Charlie’s now that she’s running the place again and Phyllis (Joyce Guy) apparently moved back to Nixon Falls? Or is she brainstorming ways to make Ava’s life hell?

Natalia (Eva LaRue) recently endeared herself to Sonny (Maurice Benard) when she basically perjured herself on the stand to make Kristina look less unhinged and in need of therapy. Now, the two get closer when Sonny and Natalia celebrate. What are they celebrating?
