General Hospital spoilers for the Thursday, May 30 episode focus on potentially potent conversations. Sonny specifically seeks out Dex while Dante and Kristina have a meeting of the sibling minds. Also, Michael tells Drew how he feels. Is that going to go well?
A Sibling Summit
Since Sonny (Maurice Benard) beat up Dex during Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding reception, things have gone from bad to worse relationship-wise. Kristina (Kate Mansi) witnessed the entire debacle and has since kept her distance. Meanwhile, Sonny and Dante’s solid dynamic has faltered. It doesn’t help that Sonny’s hella shady, and Dante’s a cop.
While Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Kristina are currently on the outs with their dad, they come together to have a heart-to-heart. They both want what’s best for Sonny. What will their deep dive into their dad reveal? Will they both figure out how to help him through this rough patch without compromising their morals and beliefs? Will they come to a shared realization about their dad, that something is happening with Sonny that’s not natural?
Feeling Less Than Hopeful
Speaking of Sonny, he seeks out Dex (Evan Hofer). Here’s to hoping this will be a peaceful conversation that won’t devolve into more violence. Dex wouldn’t be able to take another round, right? Will Sonny dole out a mea culpa to Dex and thank him for not pressing charges? Or will he double down on his threat to hold a gun to his head? Sonny does not like that his former right-hand man is now a cop. And he doesn’t know quite yet that he’s justified in his thinking. After all, Dex confessed to Anna (Finola Hughes) that Sonny ordered him to kill Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Sonny’s son Michael (Chad Duell) has his own issues to solve. On Michael’s agenda: Tell Drew (Cameron Mathison) how he feels. Whoa, why the sudden unloading of emotion? Does this have to do with Drew confiding something in Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and asking her to keep it from the rest of the Quartermaines? Is there any hope that this will be an uplifting conversation? Nope.
Frustration and an Invitation
Molly (Kristen Vaganos) is frustrated, and these days, her frustration has to do with three things. First, the surrogacy experience as it pertains to TJ (Tajh Bellow), who finally acknowledged he’s been overly micromanage-y with Kristina. Second, the surrogacy experience as it pertains to Kristina, who is currently in the middle of a major emotional crisis with her father. Third, her mom’s bid to get her license to practice law back. Which one of these causes a frustration flare-up? Or is this something professional and not personal? (Check out the latest GH Comings & Goings here)
Finally, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) issues an invitation. Who does she want to invite, and why should it be Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)? The two are due for an actual date where they can forget about the rest of the world and concentrate on them.
