Ava Drops a Bombshell on Nina

General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, December 13, 2023, are, apparently, the gift that keeps on giving because Sonny’s making a donation; Alexis is given pause; and Ava’s offering up the truth to Nina. Again. 

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Is there anything better than a confession session between Ava (Maura West) and Nina (Cynthia Watros)? If you recall, it wasn’t that long ago Ms. Jerome spilled an entire pot full of tea all over Ms. Reeves (refresh your memory here). Back then, she came clean about everything related to Austin (Roger Howarth), “dead” Nikolas (Adam Huss), and puppet master Cyrus (Jeff Kober). 

Well, get ready for another round of truth-telling between friends. What’s left for Ava to own up to? Surprisingly, she’s able to come up with something. Is it the fact she destroyed the image of a dead Austin and the “You’re welcome” letter that came with it? Or, does she pony up a true alibi for where she was the night Austin died? Inevitably, this so-called truth will probably come back to bite Ava in her you-know-what. Let’s hope Nina helps Ava come up with a way to avoid any sort of karmic payback.

The Giving Season

While the besties play truth without the dare, Nina’s hubby (and Ava’s baby daddy) makes a donation. With Sonny (Maurice Benard) involved, a donation could go one of two ways. Either it’s on the up and up or it’s an underhanded, under-the-table kind of situation. For all intents and purposes, this could actually be a genuine donation. Especially if it’s the one Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) wanted him to make in lieu of him paying her back for everything Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) stole from her.

Next is one of Sonny’s other baby mamas. In this case, it’s Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Teasers reveal she’s “given pause.” What’s giving her pause this time around? Does it have to do with the fact Finn’s (Michael Easton) case is igniting her inner legal eagle again? Or does it have to do with her daughters entering a surrogacy pact? It’s also possible this hesitation is about The Invader or Gregory’s (Gregory Harrison) illness. That’s a lot of causes on the horizon for pausing.

Discoveries and Run-ins

Ava and Nina aren’t the only besties uncovering truths. Joss (Eden McCoy) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) suddenly make a discovery about fellow student Adam (Joshua Benard). The college teen has been freaking out over his grades. In fact, Josslyn recently witnessed the dude lying to his dad about his make-up exam. Are they about to find out something about his family? Like who his father is? There’s still so much that’s a mystery about this messed-up boy.

Speaking of mysteries, Carly (Laura Wright) and Donna (Scarlett Spears) have a chance run-in. Lately, Carly’s run-ins have nothing to do with Drew (Cameron Mathison) since he’s off in Australia on Aurora business. Unbeknownst to her, she’s sort of been flirting talking with the current WSB director, AKA Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure), who’s in town allegedly causing madness and mayhem for Sonny and Anna.
