General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, August 29, focus on stunning offers, shocking calls, and pure and utter devastation.
We haven’t seen Kristina (Kate Mansi) since she vowed never to forgive her sister after she and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) created a spectacle at the funeral service for Baby Irene/Baby Adela. Ultimately, things were said, and Molly blamed Kristina for putting herself in a bad situation. Molly then revealed she knew Kristina planned to keep the baby — and she had the document to prove it. Yup, it was a disastrous day for the Davis women.
So, it’s understandable that Kristina is devastated. But are these emotions a continuation of what she’s feeling in the wake of losing the baby and the fact that Cates (Adam Harrington) arrested her? Or did something new get added to the massive devastation pile? (Check out how the fans feel about Kristina versus Molly here)
Jagger is giving Sonny (Maurice Benard) a hard time. He’s trying to get the coffee importer to make the ultimate sacrifice for his daughter. But the man doesn’t know Sonny, does he? He thinks he does. After all, it’s been 30 years since they last interacted. However, when Sonny makes a stunning offer, does he give Cates what he wants? Or does he make a stunning offer to someone else?
Meanwhile, Sonny’s son, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), is dealing with emotions like fear, guilt, and heartbreak because Lulu has taken a turn for the worse. He already had a tough conversation with Tracy (Jane Elliot). Now, he turns to someone who won’t be as harsh. Look for Dante to open up to Olivia (Lisa LoCicero). Sometimes, you just need your mom to help make things clearer.
We haven’t seen much of wannabe Congressman Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) lately. He must be busy campaigning. That is when he’s not thinking about the drama he caused by kissing Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). What happens when Drew gets a shocking call? What part of his life will this call affect the most? His love life, his business life, or his political life?
Finally, Portia (Brook Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) get to spend some quality time together. Lately, these two have been either working, fighting against Heather Webber’s freedom, or helping TJ (Tajh Bellow — who talked to Soap Hub about his character’s heartbreaking loss) and Molly grieve the loss of their baby. When they talk about the future, what does this serious talk entail? Does Curtis want to pivot professions again, or is this something more personal?
