General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, August 22, focus on much-needed support and conflict resolution. Self-awareness is also much-needed, but unfortunately, you can’t have everything.
Dueling Perspectives
Yikes. Ava (Maura West) seems to be at the center of Trina’s (Tabyana Ali — find out about her latest gig here) and Joss’s (Eden McCoy) latest spat. While Joss tolerated Ava for a while, she’s never really liked her. Meanwhile, Trina is friends with the woman. In addition, she works for her at the art gallery. Plus, Trina is notoriously a loyal person, so even though this isn’t the best time to stand by Ms. Jerome, she’s not completely abandoning her. At least not yet, anyway.
However, Trina does have complicated feelings about her boss’s role in Kristina’s nasty fall. What happens when the two attempt to resolve their differences? Will the roomies work through their issues? Or will their rift grow?
Sibling Drama
What to do about the Davis sisters? This summer has been a whirlwind of drama, heartbreak, and rage, mostly between Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina (Kate Mansi). Well, don’t look for that to end anytime soon. Having said that, Molly receives much-needed support. Ever since the baby died, she’s been flailing, clinging to her work as an ADA, and avoiding her domestic partner. Who gives her the support she so desperately needs? Would it be her just-returned bio dad, perhaps?
More importantly, what kind of support will she need when Kristina goes too far? In GH’s Weekly Promo, Kristina takes offense when she realizes Molly and TJ named the baby without any help from the sister who carried the baby. What’s going too far? Admitting that she never wanted to give up the baby after all? If that’s what happens, yes, that’s way too far.
Offers and Questions
Here’s a bit of a blindside. Sonny actually makes an offer to Ava. We think he would rather humiliate Cates, so they’ll revisit the custody issue if — and only if — he gets Ava’s cooperation. Does that sound plausible? Because there’s been so much bad blood between Sonny and Ava, it’s difficult to think that they may come to an understanding.
Finally, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) questions Natalia (Eva LaRue). Maxie wasn’t present for Natalia’s impromptu meeting with the Deception ladies about becoming the company’s CFO. To recap, Tracy (Jane Elliot) wanted nothing to do with Sonny’s bailout money. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Lucy (Lynn Herring) did. But they needed to talk to Maxie and get her thoughts. Maxie isn’t about Natalia’s homophobic rant, so is this questioning more like an interrogation? Has she already made her decision?
