General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, August 21, focus on shocking discoveries, necessary challenges and warnings, plus Sonny shares a theory with Jason.
Test 1-2-3
First, Ava (Maura West) chatted with Nina (Cynthia Watros). Now, she’s coming face-to-face with her friend and employee, Trina (Tabyana Ali). One of the last times they saw each other, there were bars between them. Trina has seen a different side to her boss and doesn’t like it. However, she doesn’t seem to be someone who will abandon Ava—at least not yet.
Trina suddenly challenges Ava. What does she challenge? Ava’s loyalty? Her story about the night a pregnant Kristina (Kate Mansi) flew out the window? The trust that’s between them? More importantly, what happens if Ava fails this so-called challenge?
Peace, Love, and Shocking Discoveries
Because of that fateful day that turned into disaster for Kristina, Ava, and others, certain relationships are in shambles. Namely, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina. Molly seemingly blames Kristina for putting herself in an unwinnable situation with Ava. As a result, their baby died. Kristina sees Ava as the sole person to blame for the baby’s death. Needless to say, that must be why Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) tries to keep the peace. (Find out what Tajh Bellow has to say about Molly and TJ’s heartbreaking loss)
Meanwhile, teasers also suggest that Molly makes a shocking discovery. Does this discovery cause her to double down on her blaming her sister or release her from playing the blame game? Or is this something more personal? Some fans, after all, have speculated that during all this turmoil, maybe Molly will find out she’s actually pregnant. Stranger things have happened.
Theories and Warnings
Thankfully, Jason (Steve Burton) didn’t hold back yet another secret from Sonny (Maurice Benard — who sets the record straight on his GH status). He didn’t listen to Anna (Finola Hughes), and he told Sonny immediately after he talked to the commish that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was the one who originally tampered with Sonny’s bipolar meds. So, what theory does he have to share with Jason? Sonny hasn’t been right all that much lately, so will he be on target with his latest hypothesis?
Finally, Anna issues a warning. Does she find a way to communicate with Valentin and warn him about what she knows about him? Or is this about Cates (Adam Harrington) or Brennan (Charles Mesure)? Anna has to know that if Valentin was the one who tampered with Sonny’s meds, Jack would know all about it, which he does.
