General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, August 15, focus on an attempted rescue, an alarming situation, and an unexpected invitation.
Cody (Josh Kelly) really has it good right now. He’s managing the Q stables, where he bonds with people like Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and interacts with his person, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). The one area of his life that refuses to come together has to do with his biological father. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been able to repair the damage he’s done to their relationship.
Despite this regrettable situation, Cody seems to be waiting for the most opportune moment to correct his very serious wrong. When he attempts a rescue, does it involve Mac (John J. York) or his family? Regardless of whether it does or not, will his attempt at rescuing be successful? (Check out the latest actor to leave GH here)
Meanwhile, Maxie’s son, James (Gary James Fuller), loves Cody like a brother. The two have connected over Cody giving the little one riding lessons. Does this rescue attempt involve him? Furthermore, is that why teasers suggest Maxie (Kirsten Storms — who recently shared a funny story) is alarmed? Or does she have this reaction to something else going on in her life?
Keeping it in the family, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) has long had it with Mac’s attitude over this Cody conundrum. Of course, the man hurts. Cody’s insecurities, guilt, and shame prevented him from telling Mac the truth. But Mac seems to hold onto his hurt and man pain longer than anyone would have thought. So, does Felicia tell Mac to get over it and accept Cody into his life?
What happens when Michael (Chad Duell) issues an unexpected invitation? Does he suddenly suggest a double date with Drew (Cameron Mathison — who’s in another holiday movie) and Nina (Cynthia Watros)? That would be awkward, considering Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew’s secret kiss that everybody at the table would know about except for Michael. If not this disaster-in-the-making, what unexpected invitation could this be about?
Finally, it’s like old times for Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard). Lately, the two cannot be separated. They’re working together again. Stone Cold is carrying out Sonny’s orders again. And now he’s updating Sonny. Has he found the pesky pharmacist that Cates (Adam Harrington) has hidden away yet?
