General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, August 13, focus on payback, pain, and plans.
Carly (Laura Wright) and Ava (Maura West) have never been friends, but for a while, they tolerated each other. In fact, they even managed to have civil conversations. Don’t expect that to happen again anytime soon, considering Ava is the de facto town pariah. Kristina (Kate Mansi — who called on Y&R star Courtney Hope for help with this miscarriage storyline) falling from her hotel suite after the two had an argument sent that shaky detente spiraling.
Unsurprisingly, Carly isn’t one to ignore moments when she can offer her unsolicited two cents. With Ava out on bail, she suddenly delivers a warning to Ava. Presumably, it sounds something like stay away from Sonny and Kristina and everyone Carly currently loves and has ever loved in this lifetime.
Sonny’s recent conversation with Kristina, in which she asked him to take care of Ava, left him reeling. While he was thinking about a permanent solution to the Ava problem, he knew that if he carried this out, it wouldn’t be healthy for his daughter. Right about now, Sonny (Maurice Benard) needs a sounding board. Who better than Jason (Steve Burton)? They apparently have mended fences. At the very least, they’re no longer on opposing sides. What does Sonny confide to Jason?
Meanwhile, Kristina is angry and seeking revenge. She wants to make Ava pay for this extremely painful and heartbreaking loss. However, within this anger spiral, Kristina makes a bittersweet decision. What does she decide to do?
As for Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington), he has nothing better to do than think about his vendetta against Sonny. Apparently, his hatred of the man knows no bounds because he ends up detailing his new plan. Is this a new plan to take down Sonny or a new plan to take down someone Sonny loves? Because that would hurt him much more than being the one solely targeted.
Finally, we haven’t seen Violet (Jophielle Love) all that much since Finn (Michael Easton — who recently reunited with Love) left town to go to rehab for three months. Add the fact that she also lost her grandfather this year, and Violet’s in a sad place. Thankfully — and we can’t believe we’re saying this — she lives with Tracy (Jane Elliot), who knows about grief and can help Finn’s daughter. Look for Tracy to give Violet a history lesson.
