The General Hospital spoilers for the Tuesday, May 14 episode include a dinner dilemma, great advice between friends, and tense developments between former besties.
Dinner Intrigue
Anna (Finola Hughes) continues her mission to unravel Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) connection with Pikeman. She’s sure he’s more involved in the evil organization than he’s letting on. Meanwhile, he’s sure that he’s so clever that Anna’s none-the-wiser. (GH’s Rebecca Herbst celebrated her birthday this week)
Needless to say, their dinner date should prove an interesting occasion. Will they be able to fit a little flirting in between their potential Mr. and Mrs. Smith-type shenanigans? Will Anna cause Valentin to slip up and reveal the fact that he’s currently the de facto Pikeman leader? And that he and Brennan (Charles Mesure) are close cohorts in crime? And what intel will Valentin gain from this quality time with his ex?
Necessary Boundaries
Alas, the Nina (Cynthia Watros — who talks about the Nina/Ava breakup here) and Ava (Maura West) besties era is over. Their last conversation turned out to be a platonic breakup situation. However, that may not be enough for the Crimson head. She may need to find other ways to sever her connection to Sonny’s roomie. Teasers suggest she draws a new boundary with Ava. What’s that going to look like?
Meanwhile, Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) wants a relationship with his dad, but his mom has been reluctant to make that happen as of late. But teens have to teen, so being banned from seeing Jason (Steve Burton) isn’t going to stop Danny. The two end up in each other’s vicinity long enough for Danny to request something from Jason.
Good Advice and Good Business
While the rehearsal dinner rages on in Coney Island, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn — who’s about to reunite with Lane Davies) and Gregory (Gregory Harrison) spend a nice, quiet evening together. Their idea of fun? Listening to each other and giving each other good advice. Gregory’s illness is progressing, and Alexis is about to find out whether she can get her legal license back. Sometimes, evenings like these are all you need in order to put things into perspective.
Finally, Port Charles’s answer to Mark Cuban continues to focus on professional-related pursuits. Yes, Drew (Cameron Mathison) is all about the business, the beautification of Port Charles, and the benjamins. Look for the Aurora Media executive to receive another business proposition.
