Coming up on General Hospital on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, spoilers focus on Isaiah suddenly keeping a secret, Gio issuing an apology, and Carly leaping to action.
Key Takeaways
- Isaiah steps into a situation that forces him to keep a secret.
- Carly leaps into action as danger looms.
- Gio issues an apology while tensions rise around Britt and Cassius/Nathan.
Isaiah the Secret Keeper
Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) remains a mystery. What we know about him is minimal. We know that he’s a good, caring doctor whom Sidwell (Carlo Rota) took advantage of before he came to Port Charles. And that he is way into Portia (Brook Kerr) after being way into Jordan (Tanisha Harper).
He was disappointed when Portia’s baby turned out to be Curtis’s. And he’s all about the cabin that Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) gave him. He recently lost Marco (Adrian Anchondo) on the operating table, but deaths like that don’t seem to happen to him too often, thankfully.
Isaiah is about to step into something that will require him to keep a secret. As far as we know, he’s someone people can trust to keep a secret. After all, Dr. Gannon has kept his past hidden from everyone since arriving in Port Charles. Nobody even asks him about his family or anything. And he’s not offering up the info either.
Whose secret will he be keeping?
Carly, Action Hero
Carly (Laura Wright) is supposed to leap into action on Wednesday. This could happen while she’s in a car with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) in GH’s weekly video preview. Carly is a good person to have on your side when you-know-what goes down.
She is already going scorched earth to get Joss (Eden McCoy) out of the WSB and has even committed treason to help make that happen. And she will do whatever it takes to find Jason (Steve Burton) and protect the ones she loves in this world. And this includes Lucas (Van Hansis), who has decided to stay at Wyndemere even though Marco is gone.
So who benefits from Carly’s leaping to action on Wednesday?
Sidwell Turns to Ava for Support
Ava (Maura West) is getting in deeper with Sidwell. Hopefully, she won’t get in too deep with him. But needless to say, she is always someone to have on your side rather than against you. Sidwell is finding that out. He won’t want to see Ava if she’s ever on the warpath against him. Trust us.
Sidwell is currently vulnerable. He’s reeling from the death of his son. And he’s threatening to make bad choices because of his immense grief. He ends up confiding in Ava, who will undoubtedly offer him comfort, advice, and maybe even a martini or two.
Words of Caution and Apologies
Look for Gio (Giovanni Mazza) to issue an apology. Meanwhile, “Nathan” (Ryan Paevey) continues to deal with his sister. On Tuesday, he gives Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) an ultimatum. And it seems like he’s about to follow that up by delivering some words of caution, which could probably be thought of as a threat.
We’re starting to see that Cassius isn’t as laid-back and harmless as Nathan was. This guy seems more lethal. How will Britt react to the actions of this fourth child of Faison’s?
