Sonny, Nina, Jax, Carly Quadrangle Will Rock General Hospital

Nina’s fantasy life with Sonny/”Mike” in Nixon Falls crossed the line the minute she started sharing passionate kisses with the happily married amnesiac. However, it’s perfectly set the stage for a Sonny, Carly, Jax, and Nina quadrangle that will rock General Hospital.

General Hospital: Truth Be Told

Imagine the fallout and furor when the truth finally comes out that Nina (Cynthia Watros) knew Sonny (Maurice Benard) was alive for months and kept the news from his grieving family in Port Charles?  It will take Carly’s (Laura Wright) loathing of Nina to new heights. Not only did Nina keep her husband from her, but she also moved in on him.

Jax (Ingo Rademacher) will feel totally duped, having spent months trying to win Nina back and even going so far as blackmailing Michael (Chad Duell) into granting her visitation with her grandson, Wiley. Michael will be furious, too, and totally justified in severing all ties between his son and Nina, after her twisted duplicity.

Sonny’s Revenge

Then there’s Sonny/”Mike,” who’s come to truly care for Nina as a friend and so much more. To learn the woman he totally trusted played and deceived him will be devastating. That disappointment is bound to turn to anger once Sonny gets his memory back. He’ll be appalled that Nina knowingly kept him from reclaiming his life and, instead, chose to use him as a pawn to get even with Carly. Will Sonny opt to retaliate? Probably, especially if Carly eggs him on. And if he does, it will be hard to blame him, considering the magnitude of Nina’s deception.

Twists and Turns

But before anything gets resolved, Nina, Sonny, Carly, and Jax will find themselves in a twisted quadrangle. At the moment, Sonny has no recollection of his wife, Carly, and only knows and trusts the duplicitous Nina. Meanwhile, former spouses, Carly and Jax will be itching to end the new duo’s relationship, with Carly eager to expose the fact that Nina’s been lying to Sonny for months. Jax could even help her, knowing how far off course Nina has strayed and wanting to set things straight.

What’s Next?

When the whole truth is finally exposed, Nina will very likely lose everything – visitation of Wiley, her relationship with Sonny/”Mike” and any possibility of a reconciliation with Jax. With Nina down and out, the timing will finally be right for Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to swoop in and save his ex-wife, paving the way for a possible Nina and Valentin reunion. That is if he hasn’t already moved on with Anna (Finola Hughes). If that’s the case Nina will find herself all alone, and she’ll totally deserve it. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
