Sonny And Margaux: DON’T DO IT, General Hospital!

We’ve felt it coming for months, but didn’t want to believe General Hospital would really go there, but we have a feeling the show just might. Sonny may be about to have yet another affair, and we feel like we’ve seen this story a time or two (or three…or four).

We also thought Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was brought on to be Drew’s new love interest and if she didn’t use blackmail while holding onto the man’s flash drive full of memories, they might have stood a chance.

But we haven’t seen Drew (Billy Miller) and Margaux together for weeks on end. Yet, every time we see Margaux with Sonny (Maurice Benard), they seem to grow closer and ‘understand’ one another better.

On Tuesday, we half expected them to go at it in the graveyard because what’s a little graveyard romp to go with the crypt romp with Ava (Maura West) that produced Avery. Then, we feared Sonny’s Super Sperm Powers and realized, IF that happened, another Corinthos would be on the way soon.

At this point, Margaux is a character who is just not working, despite casting a veteran powerhouse soap actress in the role. She doesn’t seem well thought out and her story so far has been all over the place.

Sadly, we actually liked her with Drew. That might have actually given Drew something to do (rather than be mixed up in a teen cancer story fans are just not feeling). (And if fans aren’t feeling a teen cancer story, something is very wrong.)

Sonny doesn’t need another young lawyer in his life, and he certainly doesn’t need another child. While his marriage to Carly (Laura Wright) could use a bit of a shakeup, is adultery really the way to go once again?
