Just as Franco was finally ready to tell Elizabeth all about being three years old and kinda sorta (not really) pushing Drew down the stairs, ABC interrupted General Hospital (GH) for remarks from outgoing Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.
Soap fans got used to the constant flow of news and conferences interrupting daytime programming after Donald Trump became president last year.
But, as something is always happening with this administration, all the somethings were deemed unworthy of interrupting our soaps, so we all breathed a sigh or relief that we could escape.
But today, fans lost about 20-25 minutes of the 2 PM EST airing, but you can still see the show in its entirety on ABC.com tonight at 8 PM EST. It will also be available on Hulu at around the same time.
Other time zones will see the show in its entirety on air.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
