It looks like Kristen Alderson has been quite the busy bee of late as she’s taking on more projects outside the soap world.
The actress who grew up before our eyes as Starr Manning on One Life to Live and later took the character to General Hospital has been beloved by soap fans for decades. She even created the character of Kiki Jerome on GH.
Two weeks ago, Soap Hub reported that Alderson had landed a role in the flick The Glorious Resurrection of Claire Owens as the title role. While IMDB doesn’t tell a lot about the plot, we do expect the starring actress to be on screen quite a bit.
Now Alderson is excited about a new “solo hosting gig” she just wrapped or a pilot. While she’s not saying much about the project just yet, she does hope it becomes a regular thing. It also looks like a lot of fun on the set considering the snap she shared on Instagram.
“That’s a wrap on my first solo hosting gig! Really looking forward to seeing where this pilot goes! Regardless, we had an absolute blast while making it. More details to come!”, she wrote in a caption by a photo of herself and others on the project in their festive seasonal best. Santa hats for all!
Alderson hasn’t been a part of the soap world since 2015, but she sure is missed and remembered. She’s also quite the family girl, having been a great emotional support to her brother, Eddie Alderson (ex-Matthew, One Life to Live) during his battle with cancer. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
