Soap vet Elizabeth Hendrickson is expecting her first child and can barely contain the excitement. She’s taking social media followers along on her blessed journey as she prepares to have something in common with her on-screen alter-ego, Chloe — motherhood!
Baby Joy For Elizabeth Hendrickson
“At 23 weeks I’ve had the itch to start the nesting process and get ready for baby girl!” Hendrickson wrote on her Instagram account. “I stopped by the mothership of all of things baby at Buy Buy Baby! Check out my story for the full shopping experience. My feet still hurt! Is it rude to add foot rubs on my registry?”
Hendrickson first revealed she was pregnant in October. Earlier this year, she wed husband, Rob Meder, on the island of Saint Barthélemy and then finalized the legal proceedings after returning to the United States.
The actress has been a hit with fans ever since she appeared on All My Children first as Frankie, and later, Maggie, starting in 2001. She, along with other former AMC cast members, landed in Genoa City following AMC’s cancellation in 2011.
After an Emmy-nominated run on YR as Chloe, the long-absent daughter of Esther (Kate Linder), Hendrickson vacated the role. She then popped up on General Hospital as attorney Margaux Dawson, a woman who had a score to settle with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
After that role wrapped earlier this year, Hendrickson returned to YR. The writers re-addressed her conflict with Adam (Mark Grossman) and also re-introduced Chloe’s husband, Kevin (Greg Rikaart). Michael (Christian LeBlanc) got charges against his sister-in-law knocked down to practically nothing and today, she’s a free woman, ready to get on with her life.
Soap Hub wishes Hendrickson the best on her upcoming bundle of joy. No word yet on a due date or how the top-rated soap will address an upcoming maternity leave.
