Days of our Lives’ Brandon Barash (Stefen O. DiMera) has spent a lot of quality time with his daughter Harper while riding out the stay-at-home orders, and this weekend, he did what a lot of parents have been forced to do of late in this “new normal”—he gave his kid a haircut.
Thanks to an online video and some cutting tools supplied by his daughter’s mom, Kirsten Storms (General Hospital’s Maxie), the actor added hairstylist to his resume.
“Apparently I cut hair now?” he joyfully wrote next to the most adorable photos of his daughter. “Thx to @kirstenstorms for the shears, and YouTube for the quick tutorial! Now — I wonder how many of you are going to tell me in the comments to use the scissors to cut my beard.”
Storms posted her own encouraging message to Barash about his cutting style. “Quarantine has shown us a few things about ourselves and 2 of those are…I am a kitchen beautician at heart…and Brandon can give a mean angled haircut (after a few “how-to” videos on YouTube),” she wrote. “This little Bug looks so cute with her new hairstyle!”
Barash also posted four other cute photos from the special occasion on his Twitter page, talking about how Harper played it forward with the haircut.
“My baby let me cut her hair last night…then she cut HER baby’s hair. Honestly, I’m not sure which one of us was happier,” he wrote.
Apparently, his hair salon also serves as a school, as earlier in the pandemic, Barash posted a video from the same location teaching his daughter. “Professor Barash likes to mix PE, acting, and French vocabulary,” he said. “Making the best of these strange times.”
