Soap Alum (And Laura’s Wright’s BF) Wes Ramsey Lands GH Role

General Hospital (GH) seems to be casting up a storm, with another soap alum joining the Port Charles scene in November.

One Life to Live’s Jessica Tuck and James DePaiva recently landed roles on the soap and we just learned Tamara Braun (ex-Carly) is making a return as a brand-new character.

Now comes news from TV Line that Guiding Light’s Wes Ramsey is arriving in town next month as a character named Peter August. There’s no other info on the character at this time, aside from his name, but we can tell you about the actor.

Ramsey is known to soap fans as Sam Spencer, a role he played from 2000-2002. He’s also appeared on Days of Our Lives and CSI: Miami.

The actor also comes with some GH connections. He once played Finola Hughes’ grandson on Charmed and is currently dating Laura Wright. There’s no word on whether Peter will interact with Carly, but if he does, things could get interesting.

Both Ramsey and Wright were thrilled to share the news on social media.
