General Hospital gives viewers a healthy dose of real-life drama, sister style, in every scene between Sam, Kristina, and Molly. That’s why the Davis family deserves more air time on the ABC soap.
General Hospital: The Real Thing
Kelly Monaco, Lexi Ainsworth, and Haley Pullos totally sell their sister act. There’s a palpable bond between the three actresses. Whether they’re bantering, bickering, or sharing an emotional moment, it always comes off authentic and natural.
You believe they love and care for one another and, from time to time, irritate and get on each other’s nerves just as real siblings do. It’s the perfect depiction of the world of sisterhood.
Keeping It Simple
The best thing about the Davis ladies is that their storylines and the resulting drama from them don’t always have to be big and convoluted. It’s interesting just because of their bond and closeness with one another.
Case in point: Molly’s one-night stand with Brando (Johnny Wactor). When Molly ‘fessed up to her sisters about cheating on TJ (Tajh Bellow), it provided days of analysis and opinions from Sam and Kristina as they each weighed in on their perfect little sister’s fall from grace. Their conversations were lively — and engaging.
Add Mama to the Mix
The Davis trio only gets more entertaining when mama Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is added to the mix. She’s not the perfect mother and role model and will be the first one to admit it, which makes her that much more likable and relatable.
Occasionally, Alexis will deliver some words of wisdom to her girls, but, for the most part, she’s just fumbling along with the three of them. And their loving yet dysfunctional adventures are always a delight to watch. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
